Turbo Fire PiYo Cize Weight Loss Results, Beach Body Coaching, Before and Afters

It's been 10 years since I started my initial weight loss journey from that fat, sad, angry girl on the left, and 5 years since I finished my first weight loss journey where I lost 80 pounds using Turbo Fire.  That was me on the right, happy, fit, healthy, and FERTILE for the first time in my life.

And then came baby #1!

I got pregnant, and thought I'm going to rock this fit mom thing, until the doctors said, hey, you're a high risk pregnancy, you need to be on bed rest.  So I watched my diet, and only gained 35 pounds, half of which I promptly lost when I gave birth to our son.

Fast forward a bit, 1 year of sickness and infection after my emergency c-section, I put on 50 pounds (total) an additional 35 from what was left after I had Jack.  I was left looking almost as bad as when I first started beach body/turbo fire.  I topped out this time at 238 pounds.  I slowly started taking my health back after a heart scare, I started walking 3-10 miles a day, depending on the day, slowly building my heart health back up to where it should be.  Then I saw ONE more video from my now coach Hillary Kelly Plauche, that just clicked for me, and made me think, I want that.  I want to be the healthy Kat again, I want to be my best for my boys.  (Husband and child) and I want be a beach body coach again.

So I joined Beach Body again under my coach Hillary... she gave me wonderful pointers, and supports me, and I bust my butt a couple hours a day...

I am just amazed at the fact that people are really connecting with me and my videos and that I only put in 2 hours of work a day, 14 hours a week, I workout, talk about it on social media and drink chocolate shakes for a living, and it's working!

I've dropped 7 inches in 2 weeks of using PiYo and Cize and I'm starting to feel strong again, like I used to feel before all the bed rest and sickness.

I am so excited to see where I will be in a few years, and I'm excited to share my 2nd journey with you again!

Weight Lifting

I haven't actually lost any pounds lately, as I have been weight training and building muscle, but I can see a huge difference in my body!  I have definition starting on my abs (something I've really never had before!)  You can see the reality of my loose skin on my stomach here though, when you let yourself get as big as I was, it's a sad reality, but it's really not as bad as I thought it would be.  My arms, shoulders and chest muscles are progressing well, I'm really enjoying the watching the changes my body is making with the weight training.

2 years later

First set of photos at the top was around November 2010, I was 255, 7 pounds down from my heaviest weight of 262.  I was a size 20/22 jeans

Second set of photos was from 6 months ago, around March/April? 2012 I was down around 50/55 pounds from the first photo set.  I did all of this weight loss on my own with the help of Turbo Fire.  Yes it took me longer than 90 days because 1) I didn't change my eating habits at first, and 2) see answer 1

Third set of photos is from October 15th 2012, down a total of 83 pounds, 179 from 262.  Size 12 jeans.
This additional weight loss was a combination of Turbo Fire, workouts with friends and working out with a personal trainer.

It's been a loooong 2 years, but I'm getting there.  Just take things one day at a time, one battle with food and one battle with workouts at a time.  Don't stress out when you slip up.  It's ONE meal, it's ONE day out of a month of good days you had.  Was it a bad week?  Still have 3 weeks in that same month to do it right.  It's never too late to start working towards your goals.  Slow and steady wins the race.

1 inch off my waist
3 off my hips
and .5 off of each of my thighs

The top pictures are of me before I started the raw food diet in combination with my exercise
The bottom photos are me now.

190 Pounds

Dropped 10 pounds since the last update!  I've been working out around 4/5 times a week, my diet is 90% raw with one or two meals a week that have some steamed veggies or cooked something.  I'm down 28 pounds since going raw, I'm a little over 2 months into eating a raw food diet, and while it was really hard to do, it's been so worth it.  The results are so fast!  I'm thinking at this rate I'll be able to hit my goal weight in the next 2 or 3 months.  I'm so excited <3 :)

Personal Trainers

I never really understood the benefit of personal trainers until I finally went to one... I used to think... oh it's just someone who you're paying to make you workout... I realized that no that's not how it is at all. You're paying someone to share with you their expertise in how the human body works, how YOUR body works, how to properly make use of all of your muscles, and how to do it safely so you don't injure yourself. You get to have an outsiders view on what you're doing wrong with your workouts, and how to fix it. And oh god, my everything hurts. Workouts, where you use proper form are ~no joke~.
If you're looking for a good personal trainer, there is an ad on the right there for Drew Mossman, he's an excellent trainer, I've been to him a few times now and I've never once left a workout disappointed.  He is based in Ohio, so keep that in mind.
